Chef Career Overview

As a Chef with dnata catering & retail or snapfresh, you will be at the heart of our culinary operations, responsible for preparing and cooking a diverse range of hot and cold food items. Your skills and expertise will ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold dishes, following menu specifications and ensuring consistent quality.
  • Use advanced knife skills and food prep equipment efficiently, maintaining portion control and minimising waste.
  • Conduct quality checks and uphold hygiene in food areas.
  • Manage stock, ensure safe food storage, and clean kitchen machinery.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate catering staff, follow instructions, and apply safe manual handling techniques, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

You will hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
