Customer Delivery Driver Career Overview

As a Customer Delivery Driver with dnata catering & retail, you will operate medium rigid (MR) or heavy rigid (HR) vehicles to transport galley equipment to various aircraft. Your responsibilities will encompass customer service, loading, unloading, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Safely operate a medium rigid (MR) or heavy rigid (HR) vehicle to transport catering equipment to and from aircraft.
  • Assemble, pack, and check completed flights, managing time independently.
  • Communicate professionally with customers during handovers, and marshal vehicles on the tarmac in line with relevant policies.
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report defects.
  • Maintain hygiene by cleaning galleys, vehicles, and service areas.
  • Complete administrative duties, follow safety procedures, and apply manual handling techniques.
  • Adhere to company standards in quality, safety, and customer service, and assist in other operational areas as needed.
You will:
  • Hold and maintain a valid ASIC card.
  • Possess a valid Australian State/Territory MR or HR licence. We also offer a pathway to become a qualified Driver by starting in a Marshaller role, with opportunities to complete the necessary training and obtain an MR licence.
  • Have an Authority to Drive Airside (ADA).
